As another year rapidly drew to its conclusion it was time for everyone to get on their best dresses (and shirts) and head up to Cubley Hall for the annual Christmas Function. As always it was great time to thank the staff for their hard work over the year and catch up with the retirees who attended.
This year, which is Whitby & Chandler's 100th in business also saw us celebrate 25 year service anniversaries for four members of our team from both Whitby & Chandler and Hardy & Hanson Ltd.
Karen Miller, Michael Laycock, John Dawson and Mark Kelly all received their long service awards along with the now legendary Cake, flowers and bottle of champagne to mark the occasion and, after visits in previous years from Elvis and Santa Claus it was an honour to welcome King Charles to Cubley to make the presentations.
